Jake Kilby is one of Sydney’s most respected and awarded DJs. A prominent fixture in Sydney’s club and party scene for over ten years, his name has featured in the line-up at all the major events in Sydney, including the world-famous Sydney Mardi Gras and Sleaze Ball parties, and Azure Harbour Party.

Jake was headlining DJ at the hugely popular and successful Queer Nation (Sydney) and Raw Hide (Melbourne) parties, and his resume also includes Hand in Hand, Big Queer Nation, Frisky, Toybox, Hey Homo, Homesexual, G.A.Y, Red Raw (Melbourne) and Queen’s Ball (Brisbane).

One of Australia’s most successful exports, Jake continues to make his mark internationally. With multiple tours of the US, Europe and Asia, Jake has played at some of the world's largest events, including Zurich's annual Street Parade and Thailand's Full Moon Party, alongside international superstars like the Freemasons, Boy George, Paul Van Dyk, Junior Vasquez, Above & Beyond, Gabriel & Dresden, Tony Moran and Victor Calderone.

Jake’s musical style varies from funky house and disco to dirty electro and progressive house, uplifting trance to driving tribal beats, and pure unadulterated pop. This versatility has earned him some of the most sought-after club residencies in Sydney and he is currently the resident DJ in the main Arena at Arq every Saturday night (alongside Jayson Forbes), and a regular at “Pop” at The Colombian and “Plus One” at 202 Broadway.

In 2002 Jake compiled the 2002 Sydney Mardi Gras Party Anthems CD (with Mandy Rollins). He has been nominated for Sydney’s Most Popular DJ every year since 1999 and he won the award in 2000, 2001 and 2002. Jake contributes to the weekly Club Chart for the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), and has been a judge in the dance music category for the ARIA Awards since 2006.
